Romeo Ferraris began his career in motor racing in 1959 and built his engineering reputation by working with Lorenzo Bandini in Formula Junior. Over the next half-century the company that bears his name – and is now run by son Mario Ferraris – has had a hand in more than 1000 race wins in circuit racing and offshore powerboating. The most recent of these came last year when Jean-Karl Vernay won the WTCR Trophy at the wheel of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR. For this season they have independently developed the Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris. This year they launch a new partnership with Hungarian outfit M1RA; a front-runner in TCR International and TCR Europe and the 2020 TCR Eastern Europe champion.
