Eng keeps Romeo Ferraris-M1RA on top in FP2 at Pau-Arnos

Romeo Ferraris-M1RA continued their serene free practice form as Philipp Eng topped the second PURE ETCR session at Pau-Arnos E-Circuit.

The Austrian, who won on his series debut in Copenhagen, set the pace in 1m23.102s with a lap just as the chequered flag was waved.

Although his time was fractionally slower than team-mate Oli Webb managed in FP1, it was enough to beat series leader Mattias Ekström’s CUPRA e-Racer by 0.265s.

Tom Chilton was Hyundai Motorsport N’s highest-place driver in third while title contenders Rodrigo Baptista (Romeo Ferraris-M1RA), Jordi Gene (CUPRA X Zengo Motorsport) and Jean-Karl Vernay (Hyundai) rounded out the field.
